Great experience here! Very friendly service, reasonably priced, delicious drinks, tasty food, clean tables and restrooms, and an overall lovely time. I will be returning for more yummy chips and salsa and great happy hour deals!
Excellent menu - wide variety of Tex-Mex AND Mexican food - extensive vegetarian menu, gluten-free menu... great margaritas! Juan, our server, was wonderful. He was attentive but not overbearing. The salsa lady was very kind as well. I did not catch her name. We will definitely be back!
Ordered Blanco Queso, strawberry Margarita and pollo margarita. For $32 at lunch, it was a great meal. Queso was a little underwhelming but food and drink were on point in general. Green salsa is tasty and I liked the fact the chips come out hot. Victor was excellent, give that man a raise! Handling bar top and tables with great service.
Went during lunch and got the tacos al carbon they were amazing! High quality meat! Service was very quick! Definitely coming back!
Looking for a good margarita? You’ll find one here! Good, clean atmosphere with a menu filled of your expected Mexican food items. I ordered the chicken enchiladas that were pretty good. Average pricing and good customer service. Will visit again for another ‘rita.
Been here a few times with the family and has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly, the restaurant atmosphere is lively and the food is great!
We came in at about 7:30 on a Friday night. The place wasn’t too crowded, and we got our free chips and salsa almost immediately. The waiter was quick to ask for our drink orders and quick to bring them. The selection is great and there are vegetarian options as well. The food is great, and the portion size is always good. This is a great midrange restaurant for dinner.
This was a great find in the Houston Area...Close to Hotel ZAZA...Place is clean and has a very welcoming feel. Another exciting aspect is having the GD in for the fun. The service was outstanding as our drinks and chips stayed full...speaking of Chips they went great with the Queso, which was a white Queso...new to us, and delicious. Salsa had a great flavor....Wife went with the Tex-Mex Chiladas with double rice. Meat alone had a great flavor and made for a great bite....The GD went with the appetizer quesadilla, which was huge...said its one of the best she has had...and was shocked she could actually eat it all...I went with the guadalajara stack with and amazing cream sauce...along with some fantastic beans....and as with most joints we hit, rice is just usually rice...but this was something different and was loaded with flavor, light and fluffy...and my GD ate half of mine as well!
Stackable Enchiladas and the Enchilada Gaudalarja were Soooo good. They're heavy on the sauce- and mine was a tad on the salty side (I'm not a salt person unless a recipe or your family recipe calls for it). Even with the heavy sauce and mine a tad salty - it's as I said above! The margaritas (or margs) are superb. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. We sat at the bar.
The waitress was so kind and attentive! I was so indecisive and she picked the soup and drink for me which were both delicious with no crumbs left behind! I love their little twist on traditional Mexican. They did a great job.
